Alignment suggestions
tC4 can learn from the verses you have already aligned and suggest links for the next ones. You confirm or reject each one.
Suggestions are based on how you aligned earlier verses in the same testament. Nothing is saved until you confirm it.
Steps
- Align a few verses carefully by hand first.
- In Align, tick Suggest links in the Suggestions row.

- The row says "Drawn from N verses you have already aligned". Open a verse and click Suggest.
- Check each dashed suggestion and click its ✓ to confirm it.
Accept all confirms every suggestion, Reject all turns them all down, and Reset clears them.
Good to know
- Suggestions can be wrong, especially after only a few hand-aligned verses: words may be placed in the order they come rather than by meaning. Check every one before you confirm it, and don't use Accept all without checking.
- Confirm or reject the suggestions before you mark the verse done.
- If nothing fits, it says "Nothing to suggest for the words still in the bank."
- The setting is remembered for each project on this computer.
- Suggestions use the same words as the word bank, so Accept all places every suggestion you see.
- Suggestions for Hebrew verses work as well as for Greek.
