Help › Check

Decide on a check item (valid, invalid, to do)

For each check, select the words in your translation, then mark the item valid or invalid, or leave it to do.

Every item starts as To do until you decide it.

Steps

  1. Read the highlighted quote in the source.
  2. Under Your translation (1), tap the word or words that translate it. Tap again to unselect. To select several words in a row, drag across them. The drag selects whole words.
A Translation Words item, Paul in Titus 1:1. Your translation is marked 1, with the hint Tap the word(s) in your translation that render the highlighted quote. The buttons ✓ Mark valid, Invalid and To do are marked 2, and the → Next item arrow at the top right is marked 3.
A Translation Notes item in build 4.0.0-rc.2, Titus 1:1. A drag across your translation selected la fe de los escogidos, shown in yellow like the quote in the source.
  1. Click ✓ Mark valid if the translation is right, or Invalid if something needs fixing (2). Click To do to take a decision back.
  2. Click Next beside the marking buttons (3) to go to the next item, or click any item in the list on the left.

Marking an item doesn't move you on, so you can change your mind before you go to the next one.
