Resume where you left off
The banner at the top of Home takes you back to the last place you changed something, in the mode you were using.
It shows the project, the book and chapter (or the story), and the start of what you last changed.
Steps
- On Home, find the dark blue banner under Your projects.
- Click the banner or its Resume → button.
- tC4 opens that book and chapter in the mode you used last: Understand, Translate, or Check with the same checking tool.
Good to know
- The banner follows your last change, not the last book you opened. Opening a book just to read it doesn't move the banner.
- A checking decision counts as a change, so after you mark an item in Check, Resume takes you back to that checking tool.
- Each book tile and story tile on Home also remembers where you were in that book or story.
- For a story, Resume opens the story at the top. Scroll down to the frame named in the banner.
- The quote is shortened, so it can stop in the middle of a word.
- Resume is kept on this computer only. It does not follow you to another computer.
